Video 07:00 min, recorded and found footage
Silk print 100*70 cm

“White are our olives
Red is the color of blood spelled on the years
Black are the bones of the betrayed martyrs
They won’t wash away
The shamless crimes of monsters”

The rare white olive is native to the lands of Tarhuna in west Libya and was heavily exploited during the era of the italian colonization of Libya. In 2020-2021, Many EU funded militias committed massacres in the region of Tarhuna, leaving behind dozens of mass graves of Libyans near the same fields of white olives.
